Program Overview

An intensified competitive landscape has made marketing increasingly essential for the success of modern organizations. Emerging technology has paved the way for more advanced and nuanced marketing techniques, but, at the same time, they have challenged marketers in identifying and implementing the most feasible and beneficial approaches in a given context. The concepts of luxury branding and brand value management need high-level expertise in optimizing marketing functions to target potential customers and improve the experiences of existing clients.  


Rushford’s MSc (Marketing) is a research-oriented program that will enhance your theoretical foundation and expertise in the most relevant marketing tools and strategies suitable to contemporary business dynamics. You will develop advanced analytical and technical skills, improving your chances of lasting engagement with employers and industry specialists. 


The program will develop and hone your skills at strategic, operational, and management levels, increasing your agility in marketing operations and people handling, business analytics, leadership, communication, business ethics, and legal business framework. Our all-inclusive course content will build a strong foundation in marketing and business concepts.


Educational Objectives

After completing the course, learners are able to:

  • Develop skills and capabilities to devise adequate marketing and branding strategies for the business.
  • Motivate employees by aligning their personal goals with organizational objectives; identify methods to retain key employees and train them according to business needs.
  • Interpret qualitative and quantitative data to predict consumer behavior, target appropriate sets of customers and improve their experiences.
  • Apply branding strategies to manage the brand value in different nations; communicate the brand’s mission and vision, and turn a local brand into a global brand.
  • Understand ethical aspects while making business decisions; emphasize corporate social responsibility by engaging in community initiatives and sustainable production processes; associate social and environmental concerns with marketing practices.
  • Interpret marketing literature to apply best practices in luxury branding, targeting, segmentation, and related fields.
  • Assess current business scenarios and financial and social risks; employ relevant business decisions to mitigate threats and enhance business profitability in the long run.

Courses Overview

A. The Rushford MSc program in Marketing comprises 35 courses – 15 Core Courses and 20 Electives. To be qualified for the degree, you must progress successfully through a total of 25 courses and a capstone thesis. The courses comprise 15 core courses and a choice of 10 out of 20 electives. 


B. The courses include at least 15 subject-specific courses with intended specialization deliverables prepared by our expert faculty and practitioners to prepare our learners to master all technical aspects related to the field.


Exit Award

C. MSc in Marketing also allows exit award for partial completion of the program or to accelerate it by seeking exemptions via our recognition of prior learning policy. The Masters in Science degree is a two-year program; however, an exit Certificate award is possible after 40 ECTS, or a Master’s award is possible after completing 90 ECTS. 


D. If you have already studied a few courses, you may apply for the recognition of prior learning, which can reduce the overall tenure of your Masters in Science Program.

Qualifications Waiver:
