An intensified competitive landscape has made marketing increasingly essential for the success of modern organizations. Emerging technology has paved the way for more advanced and nuanced marketing techniques, but, at the same time, they have challenged marketers in identifying and implementing the most feasible and beneficial approaches in a given context. The concepts of luxury branding and brand value management need high-level expertise in optimizing marketing functions to target potential customers and improve the experiences of existing clients.  

 

Rushford’s MSc (Marketing) is a research-oriented program that will enhance your theoretical foundation and expertise in the most relevant marketing tools and strategies suitable to contemporary business dynamics. You will develop advanced analytical and technical skills, improving your chances of lasting engagement with employers and industry specialists. 

 

The program will develop and hone your skills at strategic, operational, and management levels, increasing your agility in marketing operations and people handling, business analytics, leadership, communication, business ethics, and legal business framework. Our all-inclusive course content will build a strong foundation in marketing and business concepts.

 

Educational Objectives

After completing the course, learners are able to:

Courses Overview

  1. Rushford’s 60 ECTS (One-year) MSc in Marketing comprises 15 courses – 5 Core Courses and 10 Marketing specific courses.
  2. To be qualified for 60 ECTS MSc, you must complete all 15 courses. Each course comprises of 4 ECTS.
  3. 90 ECTS top-up program (18 months) takes you to an advanced level in marketing field. It provides you an opportunity to choose another 5 of 10 electives in marketing related field along with a Master thesis of 10 ECTS.
  4. 120 ECTS top-up program (24 months) provides you an opportunity to research in the field, and allows you to choose another 5 courses with a Capstone Consulting Project of 10 ECTS.

MSc Top-up Programs

  1. MSc in Marketing also allows an option to top-up programs for 90 ECTS and 120 ECTS.
  2. Generally, it is recommended for Bachelor students with no work experience to opt for higher credits.
  3. Higher credits are also recommended for those who wish to be an expert in field as top-up programs allow you to master the chosen area. 90 and 120 ECTS programs provide you access to advanced level specialised courses along with an opportunity to write Master Thesis, or a Capstone Consulting Project respectively.
  4. Our flexible program structure for Online mode of study permits you to choose for top-up programs after completing 75% of your studies by contacting your Student Success Manager. For On-Campus programs, we recommend that you decide for the program tenure at time of admission.
  5. Our Rushford online programs provide you flexibility to complete the degree in an extended duration of 3 years without payment of an additional fee.

Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent recognized academic title in any discipline

 

Qualifications Waiver:

For students who don’t have a Bachelor’s Degree, Rushford uses Recognition of Prior Experience (RPE). Rushford generally utilizes over 3 years of relevant experience in a significant role for waiver of Bachelor’s Degree. Please contact us at admissions@rushford.ch  for exploring this pathway.
