Steps & Other Requirements
Choose a program
Your academic journey at Rushford begins with choosing a program that is right for you. Please carefully review the list of programs available at this campus. Our student advisors can help and guide you further to ensure that you have made the right choice.
Check your eligibility & English language requirements

Undergraduate:

For admission into undergraduate programs you should have successfully completed (with a minimum overall score of 50%) your upper secondary education (post-16) that gives access to universities in your home country. Overseas high school qualifications, tertiary studies that include studies in a bachelor’s degree, completed diplomas or advanced diplomas and preparation programs can all be accepted.

Postgraduate:

For admission into most postgraduate programs, you are required to hold at minimum a recognised bachelor’s degree with a minimum overall score of 50% (GPA 2.0 on a 4.0 point scale) or higher.

For our 1 year programs, you may also require at least 3 years of related work experience. If applicable, you may demonstrate this through the submission of a CV, portfolio, and/or a personal statement.

English Language Requirements:

Our programs are conducted in English language. As such, you must demonstrate proficiency in English language by submitting proof of intermediate-level English language proficiency via standardized tests such as TOEFL / IELTS / PTE etc. Medium of instruction letters from previous university or college are also acceptable.

Review your finances

Before applying, you should understand the fees you will need to pay. The fees applicable for our programs for each academic year are updated on the course specific webpages of this website.

Put together your documents

During the application process you will be expected to submit a copy of several documents. At a minimum the following documents will be required:
– Passport
– Degree / Diploma
– Academic Transcripts / Marks Sheets
– Proof of English Language Proficiency (Test results or Medium of instruction letter)
– Curriculum Vitae
– Passport-size photographs

Submit your application & pay application fee

Once all your documents are available, kindly proceed with your online application via the Apply Now option available on this website.

Personal interview

Once your application is received, your application will be processed further and you will be invited for a personal interview online.

This will help us to evaluate your candidature better.

Receive a conditional offer letter & pay deposit amount

If all your submitted documents are in order, and the personal interview report is favourable, a conditional offer letter will be issued.
If you decide to accept the offer of admission, you must proceed with payment of 50% of the total fee.

At this stage, you must also get all your previously submitted documents apostiled for submission to the school in the next steps.

Issuance of final acceptance letter
A final acceptance letter is issued upon acceptance of your conditional offer and fee submission as per the terms of the conditional offer. This final acceptance letter can then be used to proceed with the visa application process.
Student visa application at the French consulate

At this stage, you can contact your local French consulate and seek an appointment for the visa application. Since visa application requirements vary by applicant nationality and country where application is being made, you must obtain all the relevant information applicable to you from your local French consulate. At this stage, the consulate can request for additional documents in support of your application such as:

– Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)
– Sponsor’s proof of finances such as bank statements
– Sponsor’s income tax filings for last 2 or more years
– Sponsor’s Identification documents etc.

Rushford will guide and provide reasonable assistance throughout your visa application process.

Payment of school fees and visa stamping

Within about 4 to 6 weeks of visa application, you will be notified by the embassy about the approval of your student visa. You must then proceed with the payment of 50% of the balance fee.
In the unlikely event of visa rejection, Rushford will refund the deposit amount paid with some minor administrative deductions.

Pre arrival session

Before you depart, a pre-arrival training session will be conducted to help make your travel and arrival as smooth as possible.
