Rushford Business School, Switzerland, in collaboration with Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Dubai Campus, successfully conducted a three-day immersive academic program from 12th December 2025 to 14th December 2025 in offline mode. The program was hosted at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Dubai Campus, providing an enriching academic environment conducive to advanced research learning and scholarly interaction.
The immersion program was specifically designed for industry-based research scholars enrolled in the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programs, with the objective of strengthening their research competencies and bridging the gap between academic research and practical industry applications. A total of seventy research scholars actively participated in this intensive offline program, making it a vibrant platform for collaborative learning and intellectual exchange.
Over the course of three days, participants were provided with in-depth insights into critical aspects of doctoral research. The sessions comprehensively covered topics such as structuring and organizing a doctoral thesis, understanding and applying qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, framing effective research questions and hypotheses, and aligning practical industry challenges with rigorous academic research frameworks. Special emphasis was placed on translating real-world business problems into researchable academic inquiries, which greatly benefited scholars from industry backgrounds.
The program fostered a highly engaging and interactive learning atmosphere, marked by fruitful discussions and knowledge sharing between academia and industry experts. Scholars had ample opportunities to clarify doubts, seek guidance on their ongoing research work, and gain practical perspectives that enhanced their understanding of doctoral-level research requirements.
The overall coordination and academic leadership of the immersion program were efficiently managed by Prof. (Dr.) Anuj Kumar, Head of Research, Rushford Business School, Switzerland, who served as the Program Coordinator and In-Charge. His strategic guidance and academic oversight played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution and academic rigor of the program.
The success of the immersion program was further strengthened by the contributions of an esteemed panel of academic experts who served as resource persons. These included Dr. Sophia Rahaman, Dr. Subburaj, Dr. Nishu Ayedee, Mr. Uday, Dr. Jayanta Chakraborti, Dr. Bhaswati Jana, Dr. Yuvika Gupta, and Dr. Shad Ahmad Khan. Their expertise, insightful sessions, and hands-on mentoring significantly enriched the learning experience of the participants.
