Admission Terms and Conditions
Key information for prospective and enrolled students:
When These Terms Apply
These terms apply as soon as you make any payment toward your course fees. If your program includes additional services, such as accommodation, those services may be subject to separate terms and conditions.
Your Program and Fees
Fees are payable as outlined in your offer, including any agreed instalment schedule. Your first payment must be made before your program start date.
Late payments may incur a monthly late-payment fee.
No additional tuition fees will apply during your program beyond those agreed, unless you are notified in advance.
Before You Accept
Please read your admission offer together with the terms and conditions document, the relevant program information and policies available on our website before accepting your offer. Once you accept, you are expected to engage respectfully as a member of our academic community.
How We Assess Applications
Each application is reviewed on its individual merits, and we are not obliged to provide reasons for admission decisions.
Entry requirements may change over time, and offers may be subject to conditions.
You may be asked to declare certain unspent criminal convictions as part of the admissions process.
Changes to Your Program
We will consult you about any significant changes and will take reasonable steps to minimize disruption. We will not discontinue a program until enrolled students have had the opportunity to complete it, and we will provide reasonable notice of any major changes.
Communication
The Admissions team will primarily communicate with you by email. You are responsible for checking your email regularly and responding where required.
Student Engagement
You are expected to participate in required learning activities. If your engagement becomes a concern, we may invite you to a meeting to discuss the matter. Repeated failure to attend such meetings may be treated as withdrawal from the program.
Raising a Concern
You may raise concerns through our Student Complaints Resolution Procedure.
Intellectual Property
Work you create during your studies belongs to you. By enrolling, you agree that we may use such work for academic, teaching, and marketing purposes where appropriate.
Studying at a Partner Institution
If you study at a partner institution, you must also comply with that institution’s rules and regulations in addition to ours.
About RBS
RBS operates as a private higher education provider in Switzerland and is not government affiliated. Recognition of qualifications outside Switzerland depends on the relevant authorities in each country.
Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with GDPR for purposes including academic administration, examinations, and student support services. Where relevant, personal data may be shared with parties such as sponsors, employers, or accrediting bodies. Further details are available in our Data Protection Policy and Student Privacy Notice.
Health and Safety for On-Campus and Blended Students
We are committed to maintaining a safe campus environment. You will receive relevant safety training and are expected to follow all applicable health and safety rules. Serious breaches may result in disciplinary action.
Service Availability
From time to time, we may need to adjust, suspend, or pause a service, for example for maintenance, safety, or operational reasons. We will aim to minimize any impact on students.
When Enrolment May Be Ended
Your enrolment may be terminated for reasons including providing false information, failing to meet program requirements, visa issues, non-payment of fees, or breach of our code of conduct.
Refunds
If we delay or cancel your program, you may be eligible for a full refund of fees paid, less minor administrative costs where applicable.
If you choose to withdraw, the refund amount will depend on how soon after the course start date you notify us. Earlier notification may result in a higher refund.
A cooling-off period may apply shortly after your course starts, during which you may withdraw for the maximum available refund, less a small administrative charge.
Details of the same are available in the sample “Student Contract” – Click Here for Sample Student Contract
Your Award
You will receive your qualification once you have met all program requirements within the maximum permitted duration.
General Terms
The Student Contract document, together with our policies, forms the complete agreement between you and RBS and supersedes any other statements or representations. These terms are personal to you and may not be transferred. Any disputes will be governed by Swiss law.
