Many of these options are located within walking distance of the school or easily accessible by public transportation. At the time of your admission, housing options will be explained to you as part of the overall offer.  Shared student accommodation usually costs EUR 300 to 600 per month.

Meals

As a student living in Valencia, you will have a range of meal options available to you.

Many of our off-campus housing options come with a kitchen, allowing you to prepare your own meals as you see fit.

There are also a number of supermarkets and grocery stores located in the city, making it easy to stock up on ingredients and cook your own meals.

If you prefer to eat out, Valencia has a variety of restaurants and cafes offering a range of cuisines to suit every taste and budget. Special meals such as vegetarian and halal are also available at various food joints.

At Rushford Business School, our language of instruction is English. However, we encourage students to join language classes for Spanish, as fluency in multiple languages is an important asset in the business world. Additionally, a good knowledge of Spanish can be especially helpful for our students in terms of communication with the local community and securing industry placements in Spain and other Spanish speaking European countries.

In terms of dress code, we expect our students to adhere to a professional business appearance or smart casuals. This includes wearing a suit, shirt, collared t-shirts, denims etc for men and pants or skirt, blouse, and jacket with closed shoes for women. In winter, students may add warm clothing as needed.

Obtaining a Student Visa

Before you can travel to Spain, you must obtain a student visa if applicable to you. Most international students from outside of the EU need a student visa. You can apply to your local Spanish consulate for a student visa after you have received the acceptance letter. Visa requirements vary by applicant nationality, so please check the requirements with your local Spanish consulate. Travelling to Valencia, Spain

By Air: Valencia Airport (VLC) is the city's main airport and offers domestic and international flights. If you are coming from another country or a distant city, flying directly to Valencia might be the most convenient option.

By Train: Spain has an extensive and efficient train network, making it easy to travel to Valencia from major cities within Spain and other European countries. Renfe is the national train operator, and you can find high-speed trains (AVE) connecting Valencia to Madrid, Barcelona, and other cities.

By Bus: There are long-distance buses that connect Valencia with various cities in Spain and neighboring countries. Companies like ALSA and Eurolines offer international bus services.

Registering at the School

You must register at the school during your first week as an overseas student. Before visiting Valencia, you will be given a personal appointment to complete your registration and get details on various introductory activities.
